The Convalescent To Her Physician Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDABECFGGFGF

Friend by whose cancelling hand did Fate forgiveA
Her debtor and rescribe her stern awardB
Oh with that happier light wherein I liveC
May all thine after years be sunned and starredD
May God to Whom my daily bliss I giveA
In tribute add it to thy day's rewardB
And mine uncurrent joy may'st thou receiveE
Celestial sterling Aye and thou shalt thriveC
Even by my vanished woes for as the seaF
Renders its griefs to Heaven which fall in rainsG
Of sweeter plenty on the happy plainsG
So have my tears exhaled and may it beF
That from the favouring skies my lifted painsG
Descend oh friend in blessings upon theeF
