On Receiving A Book From Dante Rossetti Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Since he is Poet of whom gods ordainA
Some most anthropic and perhuman actB
Whereby his manhood shall so man his factB
That but his man of man is born againC
And since humanity is most humaneA
Not at our pyramid's base where we have tactB
Of dust and supersurge the common tractB
Of being but up there where form doth reignA
To apex let a Poet ask no fameD
But that which high o'er floods of Life and DeathE
From singing arks Ararat echoethE
To Ararat and let him rather beF
Oh Poet writ on yonder page by theeF
Than hear what vulgar breath should make his world wide nameD
