Jerusalem Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDEFEGAGCF

If God so raise the Dead shall He pass byA
The Captive and the immemorable chainB
Fud ce a capta taken but not slainB
And curs d not to die ah not to dieA
Then come out of thine ages thou art freeC
Live but one Greek in old ThermopylD
And Greece is saved Dark stands the Northern FateE
At Europe's open door upon her nodF
To pass that breach a hundred nations waitE
What shall we meet her with the bayonetG
As the West sets the Sun 'twixt sea and skyA
In that Great Gate Immortal let us setG
Thy doom quit Destiny with DestinyC
Meet Fate by Fate and fill the gap with GodF
