Desolate Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDDA EEEE EA FGFG HHABCCA

From the sad eaves the drip drop of the rainA
The water washing at the latchel doorB
A slow step plashing by upon the moorC
A single bleat far from the famished foldD
The clicking of an embered hearth and coldD
The rainy Robin tic tac at the paneA
-
-
'So as it is with theeE
Is it with meE
So as it is and it used not to beE
With thee used not to beE
Nor me '-
So singeth Robin on the willow treeE
The rainy robin tic tac at the paneA
-
-
Here in this breast all dayF
The fire is dim and lowG
Within I care not to stayF
Without I care not to goG
-
-
A sadness ever singsH
Of unforgotten thingsH
And the bird of love is patting at the paneA
But the wintry water deepens at the doorB
And a step is plashing by upon the moorC
Into the dark upon the darkening moorC
And alas alas the drip drop of the rainA
