Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFAAGGAAHH IJ

I come like Oblivion to sweep awayA
The scattered beams from the car of dayA
The gems which the evening has lavishly strownB
Light up the lamps round my ebon throneB
Slowly I float through the realms of spaceC
Casting my mantle o'er Nature's faceC
Weaving the stars in my raven hairD
As I sail through the shadowy fields of airD
All the wild fancies that thought can bringE
Lie hid in the folds of my sable wingE
Terror is mine with his phrensied crewF
Fear with her cheek of marble hueF
And sorrow that shuns the eye of dayA
Pours out to me her plaintive layA
I am the type of that awful gloomG
Which involves the cradle and wraps the tombG
Chilling the soul with its mystical swayA
Chasing the day dreams of beauty awayA
Till man views the banner by me unfurledH
As the awful veil of the unknown worldH
The emblem of all he fears beneathI
The solemn garb of the spoiler deathJ
