Readjustment. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACDECFGGFDE

After the earthquake shock or lightning dartA
Comes a recoil of silence o'er the landsB
And then with pulses hot and quivering handsB
Earth calls up courage to her mighty heartA
Plies every tender compensating artA
Draws her green flowery veil above the scarC
Fills the shrunk hollow smooths the riven plainD
And with a century's tendance heals againE
The seams and gashes which her fairness marC
So we when sudden woe like lightning spedF
Finds us and smites us in our guarded placeG
After one brief bewildered moment's spaceG
By the same heavenly instinct taught and ledF
Adjust our lives to loss make friends with painD
Bind all our shattered hopes and bid them bloom againE
