Morning. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDBE AFGHIGH AADIJID AAKLMKL

O word and thing most beautifulA
Our yesterday was cold and dullA
Gray mists obscured the setting sunB
Its evening wept with sobbing rainC
But to and fro mid shrouding nightD
Some healing angel swift has runB
And all is fresh and fair againE
-
O word and thing most beautifulA
The hearts which were of cares so fullF
The tired hands the tired feetG
So glad of night are glad of mornH
Where are the clouds of yesterdayI
The world is good the world is sweetG
And life is new and hope re bornH
-
O word and thing most beautifulA
O coward soul and sorrowfulA
Which sighs to note the ebbing lightD
Give place to evening's shadowy grayI
What are these things but parablesJ
That darkness heals the wrongs of dayI
And dawning clears all mists of nightD
-
O word and thing most beautifulA
The little sleep our cares to lullA
The long soft dusk and then sunriseK
To waken fresh and angel fairL
Lite all renewed and cares forgotM
Ready for Heaven's glad surpriseK
So Christ who is our Light be thereL
