Among The Lilies Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCB ADEDFFD GHIHJJH

She stood among the liliesA
In sunset's brightest rayB
Among the tall June liliesA
As stately fair as theyB
And I a boyish lover thenC
Looked once and lingering looked againC
And life began that dayB
-
She sat among the liliesA
My sweet all lily paleD
The summer lilies listenedE
I whispered low my taleD
O golden anthers breathing balmF
O hush of peace O twilight calmF
Did you or I prevailD
-
She lies among the lily snowsG
Beneath the wintry skyH
All round her and about herI
The buried lilies lieH
They will awake at touch of SpringJ
And she my fair and flower like thingJ
In spring time by and byH
