A Portrait. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE FDFD GHGH DIDI JKLK MNON

All sweet and various things do lend themselvesA
And blend and intermix in her rare soulB
As chorded notes which were untuneful elseC
Clasp each the other in a perfect wholeB
-
Within her spirit dawn all dewy pearledD
Seems held and folded in by golden noonsE
While past the sunshine gleams a further worldD
Of deep star spaces and mysterious moonsE
-
Like widths of blowing ocean wet with sprayF
Like breath of early blooms at morning caughtD
Like cool airs on the cheek of heated dayF
Come the fair emanations of her thoughtD
-
Her movement like the curving of a vineG
Seems an unerring accident of graceH
And like a flower's the subtle change and shineG
And meaning of her brightly tranquil faceH
-
And like a tree unconscious of her shadeD
She spreads her helpful branches everywhereI
For wandering bird or bee nor is afraidD
Too many guests shall crowd to harbor thereI
-
For she is kinder than all others areJ
And weak things sad things gather where she dwellsK
To reach and taste her strength and drink of herL
As thirsty creatures of clear water wellsK
-
Why vex with words where words are poor and vainM
In one brief sentence lies the riddle's keyN
Which those who love her read and read againO
Finding each time new meanings SHE IS SHEN
