| But I have observed the same qualities in her | A |
| Apart from other values she inculcated the sense of sacrifice in me | C |
| From my childhood till now she has been my true friend and a mentor | D |

| She left her workplace after my birth just to give me a lot of time | E |
| The salary of my father was very meagre to support our family | C |
| When I grew up a little I have seen her serving me the wee bit rice which was left in the pot | F |
| But I never asked her whether she had her lunch | G |
| She used to explain me the meaning of the English poems in my textbook | H |
| But now this duffer child of her makes mockery of her English pronunciation | I |
| The lady even could not attend her favourite cultural events at our nearby club | J |
| Just because she thought it s her duty to support me during my Annual Examination | I |
| I was in th standard then but still never encouraged her to join the gala concert that day | K |
| When I have completed my th boards and took admission in the college which was far from my hometown I decided to stay in a lodge near my college | L |
| My mother made up her mind to stay with me until my graduation | I |
| I was so selfish that I didn t assure her of my staying alone | M |
| Instead I was annoyed at her for encroaching upon my personal space | N |
| I am such an ungrateful numbskull that I don t deserve a place even in the netherworld | O |

| Yet I am damn sure from the core of my heart that I am not completely stone hearted | P |
| It's because I feel the reflection of her success in my victory | C |
| Yes It's not my win but it s you who deserve the trophy | C |
| You have made me indebted to you in my lifetime | E |
| You are my hero who can bandage all types of wounds | Q |
| I am incomplete without this person who had spent numerous sleepless nights rocking my cradle | R |
| I won t say you deserve the day rather I ll say each epoch deserves and demands super moms like you | S |
| Dedicating this day to the motherhood prevailing in each and everyone | I |
