Years Have Passed Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CD EF GHG DIJ GDD DKG LMNO

Years have passed and only sounds of waters have come to my earsA
To day indeed I may even count the ripples around the fishing netB
-
The pattern of the maple leaves in Autumn dyed with the rainC
Beautiful in the deep mountainD
-
The sound of the mountain brook gives an illusion of rain dropsE
Yet the calm of the waning moon shines over allF
-
Even in our wandering journeyG
The lonely moon accompanies us lighting us from the skyH
The waning moon I used to gaze at in the Royal CityG
-
Undying affectionD
Can it end at last overlaid with timeI
Even as snow covers the land in the Northern ProvinceJ
-
-
Even a little pebble does not cease to beG
Though pressed under the snow of HakusanD
So is my affection even though hiddenD
-
Far from towns in the heart of the mountainD
The cherry blooms and wastes its blooms awayK
With none to seeG
-
The outer world of many sorrowsL
Is not to be forgotten even hereM
At the sound of the evening bellN
Lonely grows my heartO
