For G HA
-
Say does that stupid earthB
Where they have laid herC
Bind still her sullen mirthB
Mirth which betrayed herC
Do the lush grasses holdD
Greenly and gladE
That brittle perfect goldD
She alone hadE
-
Smugly the common crewF
Over their knittingG
Mourn her as butchers doF
Sheep throats they're slittingG
She was my enemyH
One of the best of themI
Would she come back to meH
God damn the rest of themI
-
Damn them the flabby fatJ
Sleek little darlingsK
We gave them tit for tatJ
Snarlings for snarlingsK
Squashy pompositiesK
Shocked at our violenceK
Let not one tactful hissK
Break her new silenceK
-
Maids of antiquityH
Look well upon herC
Ice was her chastityH
Spotless her honorC
Neighbors with breasts of snowL
Dames of much virtueF
How she could flame and glowL
Lord how she hurt youF
-
She was a woman andM
Tender at timesK
Delicate was her handN
One of her crimesK
Hair that strayed elfinlyL
Lips red as hawsK
You with the ready lieL
Was that the causeK
-
Rest you my enemyH
Slain without faultO
Life smacks but tastelesslyL
Lacking your saltO
Stuck in a bog whence naughtP
May catapult meH
Come from the grave long soughtP
Come and insult meH
-
WE knew that sugared stuffQ
Poisoned the otherC
Rough as the wind is roughQ
Sister and brotherC
Breathing the ether clearR
Others forlorn have foundS
Oh for that peace austereR
She and her scorn have foundS
