Dinner In A Quick Lunch Room Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDEC FCFCGG

Soup should be heralded with a mellow hornA
Blowing clear notes of gold against the starsB
Strange entrees with a jangle of glass barsB
Fantastically alive with subtle scornA
Fish by a plopping gurgling rush of watersC
Clear vibrant waters beautifully austereD
Roast with a thunder of drums to stun the earE
A screaming fife a voice from ancient slaughtersC
-
Over the salad let the woodwinds moanF
Then the green silence of many watercressesC
Dessert a balalaika strummed aloneF
Coffee a slow low singing no passion stressesC
Such are my thoughts as clang crash bang I broodG
And gorge the sticky mess these fools call foodG
