Colors - For D. M. C Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEAEAFF| The little man with the vague beard and guise | A |
| Pulled at the wicket Come inside he said | B |
| I'll show you all we've got now it was size | A |
| You wanted oh dry colors Well he led | B |
| To a dim alley lined with musty bins | C |
| And pulled one fiercely Violent and bold | D |
| A sudden tempest of mad shrieking sins | C |
| Scarlet screamed out above the battered gold | D |
| Of tins and picture frames I held my breath | E |
| He tugged another hard and sapphire skies | A |
| Spread in vast quietude serene as death | E |
| O'er waves like crackled turquoise and my eyes | A |
| Burnt with the blinding brilliance of calm sea | F |
| We're selling that lot there out cheap said he | F |
