I set off on a long journey,
Too far to know the unknown.
Walked, talked and searched,
To an ever widening horizon.
Reality seemed virtual,
Illusions appeared real.
Scorched, foot full of blisters,
Heart, covered in a pall of gloom.
Tried, tired and stand still,
Off the trail and lost my way.
A voice, seemed from far away
Wishpered in my deaf ears:
Hold on! Stop now!!
Your adventure is over,
You have arrived already.
I, revived my body and mind,
With rejuvenated spirits,
Charged ahead with long strides,
In a changed direction,
From outward to inward.
Wondering as a wanderer,
The journey, I can not stop.
