Loving And Beloved Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDBBBBEEBFBFGGEH EIGG

There never yet was honest manA
That ever drove the trade of loveB
It is impossible nor canA
Integrity our ends promoveB
For Kings and Lovers are alike in thisC
That their chief art in reigne dissembling isD
Here we are lov'd and there we loveB
Good nature now and passion striveB
Which of the two should be aboveB
And laws unto the other giveB
So we false fire with art sometimes discoverE
And the true fire with the same art do coverE
What Rack can Fancy find so highB
Here we must Court and here ingageF
Though in the other place we dieB
Oh tis torture all and cozenageF
And which the harder is I cannot tellG
To hide true love or make false love look wellG
Since it is thus God of desireE
Give me my honesty againH
And take thy brands back and thy fireE
I'me weary of the State I'me inI
Since if the very best should now befalG
Loves Triumph must be Honours FuneralG
