An April Adoration Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AA B CC DD EE FF GG HH

Sang the sun rise on an amber mornA
'Earth be glad An April day is bornA
-
'Winter's done and April's in the skiesB
Earth look up with laughter in your eyes '-
-
Putting off her dumb dismay of snowC
Earth bade all her unseen children growC
-
Then the sound of growing in the airD
Rose to God a liturgy of prayerD
-
And the thronged succession of the daysE
Uttered up to God a psalm of praiseE
-
Laughed the running sap in every veinF
Laughed the running flurries of warm rainF
-
Laughed the life in every wandering rootG
Laughed the tingling cells of bud and shootG
-
God in all the concord of their mirthH
Heard the adoration song of EarthH
