| I know we may all be scared of the shadows | C |
| the sun has been threatening to leave and never come back | D |
| The fear is that this life like everything else doesn't hold us dearly | E |
| they will tell you your tears are just salty water | F |
| You know they are extrements of your soul | G |
| You cry silently when you do | B |
| Everything is broken | H |
| even our hands | I |
| So we'll give the world a break | J |
| turn off the blazing fires of baptism | K |
| we sometime put ourself through | B |
| just to prove we are human | H |
| Because being human has been a colour | B |
| a number a rope against one not worthy to live | L |
| being human has been surrender faith joy and peace | M |
| We have gathered at the birth of different times to redefine ourselves | N |
| Unity has been one of our names | O |
| We respond to it now | P |
| And will continue to | B |
| when we are reunited again | Q |
| Folks they sometimes call us | R |
| There is power in gathering | S |
| But even shadows of doom do | B |
| Only lingering over spaces | T |
| Our breaths are wasted if not taken | H |
| with purpose | R |
| Freedom a sweet identity for one and all | U |
