THE WEIGHT OF UNSEEN WINGSF
-
Feathered burdens clung to the wingsF
Chopping them off bit by bitG
Like one would chop spring onionsH
-
The wings had lost their powerE
They sob and fume in silenceI
How shame overwhelms the wingsF
When they realize they have lost the power of flightJ
-
The wings must still find an auraE
A heaven s hush to push them in a rushK
Even if the wings lack the skyL
They could still be seen as a weight that carries unseen wingsF
-
Like wings never lose the gravity of hopeM
You might be unseen nowN
But do not let your weight define youO
Your weight is a voice that will still be known by the unknownP

Yet in portal clouds in the blueO
The wings flew as fast as soundQ
Unseen unnoticed far from theE

A sign of might and vision trueO

And as midnight beams it's fadedR

In the air the breeze passes the shallowS

And in silence it sought high no one canU
seeT
The weight of unseen wings that bent through the darkest dayE
