The Kiss Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDC EBBE

To these I turn in these I trustA
Brother Lead and Sister SteelB
To his blind power I make appealB
I guard her beauty clean from rustA
-
He spins and burns and loves the airC
And splits a skull to win my praiseD
But up the nobly marching daysD
She glitters naked cold and fairC
-
Sweet Sister grant your soldier thisE
That in good fury he may feelB
The body where he sets his heelB
Quail from your downward darting kissE
