Survivors Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEFF FF

No doubt they'll soon get well the shock and strainA
Have caused their stammering disconnected talkB
Of course they're longing to go out againC
These boys with old scared faces learning to walkB
They'll soon forget their haunted nights their cowedD
Subjection to the ghosts of friends who diedE
Their dreams that drip with murder and they'll be proudD
Of glorious war that shatter'd all their prideE
Men who went out to battle grim and gladF
Children with eyes that hate you broken and madF
