In Barracks Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCDEED FFGHGHHH

The barrack square washed clean with rainA
Shines wet and wintry grey and coldB
Young Fusiliers strong legged and boldB
March and wheel and march againC
The sun looks over the barrack gateD
Warm and white with glaring shineE
To watch the soldiers of the LineE
That life has hired to fight with fateD
-
Fall out the long parades are doneF
Up comes the dark down goes the sunF
The square is walled with windowed lightG
Sleep well you lusty FusiliersH
Shut your brave eyes on sense and sightG
And banish from your dreamless earsH
The bugle's lying notes that sayH
Another night another dayH
