| The voices kept on saying to her | C |
| Why on earth have you taken birth | B |

| She tried to shut the voices out | D |
| By distracting her mind | E |
| She tried everything she could do | F |
| But at the end on her face the tears shined | E |

| She kept hearing these voices everywhere | G |
| And it didn't helped that she didn't had a single friend | H |
| She was all alone in a crowd of people | I |
| And she wanted all this to end | H |

| She was scared to tell people about it | A |
| For then everyone would see her as a freak | J |
| To top it all she was crushed under everyone's expectations | K |
| And she was too afraid to speak | J |

| She prayed that someone would find her | C |
| And save her from this living hell | L |
| The police found her | C |
| And then they rang the death bell | L |
| - | |
| The police wrote it off as another suicide | M |
| But I couldn't do that | N |
| She was my other half my elder sis | O |
| The one who would love a cat | N |

| I wished that she could have got help | P |
| That we could have saved her | C |
| Then I could have my sis for my entire life | Q |
| But now all of this will remain a blur | C |

| Why do we view depression as something different | R |
| It's as common as having cold | S |
| Why do we not accept that depression doesn't make us different | R |
| And why can't to all this be told | S |
| - | |
| Oh high and mighty engineers | T |
| Plz can't you make a machine | U |
| That would measure a person's depression | V |
| Then my sis wouldn't have died at fourteen | U |
| - | |
| Then it would be as common as a glucose meter | C |
| At least more people like my sis would be saved | W |
| I request you for it | A |
| This idea I assure you will be well praised | X |

| The human detectors the psychiatrists aren't omnipresent | R |
| They would get a big help | P |
| And more shrushs would have been saved | W |
| And more swaras would have their elder sisters with them | Y |
