| By staring all over the night | B |
| At this dead white ball bright | B |

| This ball had some scares on its face | C |
| As someone had scratched it without any mercy and grace | C |

| Neither did it cry nor it laughed | D |
| But all that it's shyness revealed that it had gone mad | E |

| Silently it made the dimmed Earth with gay | F |
| By snatching the colours of night by means of shinning ray | F |

| These rays are made up of some glittering matter | G |
| That makes it look like a sun in a burning hot summer | G |

| As I was sitting alone under this open sky | H |
| I think this ball was looking at me in a watchful eye | H |

| It chilled my body and made me shiver | G |
| As winter had blessed it's rays with her frozen power | G |
| - | |
| It's glowing face makes me mad | E |
| As it appears me not like a ball but a heavenly diamond | I |
