The Moon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CC DE FF GG HH GG EI

Nothing did I getA
Nothing did I getA
By staring all over the nightB
At this dead white ball brightB
-
This ball had some scares on its faceC
As someone had scratched it without any mercy and graceC
-
Neither did it cry nor it laughedD
But all that it's shyness revealed that it had gone madE
-
Silently it made the dimmed Earth with gayF
By snatching the colours of night by means of shinning rayF
-
These rays are made up of some glittering matterG
That makes it look like a sun in a burning hot summerG
-
As I was sitting alone under this open skyH
I think this ball was looking at me in a watchful eyeH
-
It chilled my body and made me shiverG
As winter had blessed it's rays with her frozen powerG
-
It's glowing face makes me madE
As it appears me not like a ball but a heavenly diamondI
