Sonnet Xxxix: Look, Delia Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGH| Look Delia how we 'steem the half blown Rose | A |
| The image of thy blush and Summer's honor | B |
| Whilst in her tender green she doth enclose | A |
| That pure sweet Beauty Time bestows upon her | B |
| No sooner spreads her glory in the air | C |
| But straight her full blown pride is in declining | D |
| She then is scorn'd that late adorn'd the Fair | C |
| So clouds thy beauty after fairest shining | D |
| No April can revive thy wither'd flowers | E |
| Whose blooming grace adorns thy glory now | F |
| Swift speedy Time feather'd with flying hours | E |
| Dissolves the beauty of the fairest brow | F |
| O let not then such riches waste in vain | G |
| But love whilst that thou mayst be lov'd again | H |
