Sonnet Xxv: False Hope Prolongs Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDEEFEFGG

False hope prolongs my ever certain griefA
Trait'rous to me and faithful to my loveB
A thousand times it promis'd me reliefA
Yet never any true effect I proveC
Oft when I find in her no truth at allD
I banish her and blame her treacheryE
Yet soon again I must her back recallD
As one that dies without her companyE
Thus often as I chase my hope from meE
Straight way she hastes her unto Delia's eyesF
Fed with some pleasing look there shall she beE
And so sent back and thus my fortune liesF
Looks feed my Hope Hope fosters me in vainG
Hopes are unsure when certain is my painG
