Sonnet Xlvi: Fair And Lovely Maid Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFAA

Fair and lovely maid look from the shoreA
See thy Leander striving in these wavesB
Poor soul forespent whose force can do no moreA
Now send forth hopes for now calm pity savesB
And waft him to thee with those lovely eyesC
A happy convoy to a holy landD
Now show thy power and where thy virtue liesC
To save thine own stretch out the fairest handD
Stretch out the fairest hand a pledge of peaceE
That hand that darts so right and never missesF
I'll not revenge old wrongs my wrath shall ceaseE
For that which gave me wounds I'll give it kissesF
Once let the ocean of my cares find shoreA
That thou be pleas'd and I may sigh no moreA
