Sonnet Lv: Let Others Sing Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAAABACCDCDEE

Let others sing of Knights and PaladinsA
In aged accents and untimely wordsA
Paint shadows in imaginary linesA
Which well the reach of their high wits recordsA
But I must sing of thee and those fair eyesA
Authentic shall my verse in time to comeB
When yet th'unborn shall say quot Lo where she liesA
Whose beauty made him speak that else was dumb quotC
These are the Arks the Trophies I erectC
That fortify thy name against old ageD
And these thy sacred virtues must protectC
Against the dark and Time's consuming rageD
Though th'error of my youth they shall discoverE
Suffice they show I liv'd and was thy loverE
