Sonnet L: Beauty, Sweet Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFEGHIHJKK| Beauty sweet love is like the morning dew | A |
| Whose short refresh upon the tender green | B |
| Cheers for a time but till the Sun doth show | C |
| And straight 'tis gone as it had never been | D |
| Soon doth it fade that makes the fairest flourish | E |
| Short is the glory of the blushing Rose | F |
| The hue which thou so carefully dost nourish | E |
| Yet which at length thou must be forc'd to lose | G |
| When thou surcharg'd with burden of thy years | H |
| Shalt bend thy wrinkles homeward to the earth | I |
| When Time hath made a passport for thy fears | H |
| Dated in age the Kalends of our death | J |
| But ah no more this hath been often told | K |
| And women grieve to think they must be old | K |
