Sonnet L: Beauty, Sweet Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFEGHIHJKK

Beauty sweet love is like the morning dewA
Whose short refresh upon the tender greenB
Cheers for a time but till the Sun doth showC
And straight 'tis gone as it had never beenD
Soon doth it fade that makes the fairest flourishE
Short is the glory of the blushing RoseF
The hue which thou so carefully dost nourishE
Yet which at length thou must be forc'd to loseG
When thou surcharg'd with burden of thy yearsH
Shalt bend thy wrinkles homeward to the earthI
When Time hath made a passport for thy fearsH
Dated in age the Kalends of our deathJ
But ah no more this hath been often toldK
And women grieve to think they must be oldK
