Delia Xlvi: Let Others Sing Of Knights And Paladines Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBBBCBCDEDEFF

XLVIA
Let others sing of knights and paladinesB
In aged accents and untimely wordsB
Paint shadows in imaginary linesB
Which well the reach of their high wits recordsB
But I must sing of thee and those fair eyesB
Authentic shall my verse in time to comeC
When yet th' unborn shall say Lo where she liesB
Whose beauty made him speak that else was dumbC
These are the arks the trophies I erectD
That fortify thy name against old ageE
And these thy sacred virtues must protectD
Against the dark and time's consuming rageE
Though th' error of my youth they shall discoverF
Suffice they show I liv'd and was thy loverF
