Zipped Lips Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF GGGG HHIG JGGG K

We are children now slaved to mightA
Our potential is lost in unending nightA
In dreams our future glow shinningB
Several oblations for greed's dazzlingB
-
-
Everywhere merits are boughtC
Our happiness is being boughtC
Oh To treat sick or build with skillD
But profession currently sold to hillD
-
-
Our sighs dismissed as inactive tailsE
By feudal lords who exploit failsE
In false people truth does hideF
Lies thrive with cunning prideF
-
-
Feudal tongue us compressedG
We are being made slavedG
In false heart truth difficult to findG
Betrayal rules leaving honesty blindG
-
-
Oppressors control our live swayH
And vend our destiny day by dayH
Whoever speaks out for rightsI
Is killed by tyrants day and nightG
-
-
There are the bitter realities of lifeJ
Our future is being derideG
We are children now slaved to mightG
Our potential is lost in unending nightG
