Shall IA
A home to two thousand orphans shall I buildB
Shall I build not just an orphanageC
A place to be seen and called home by manyD
Or shall I build and make it look funnyD
While we wait for a world free of needs and wantsE
-
Shall I build an orphanage sweet and funnyD
Or in Africa shall I build many orphanagesF
Those who are without sorrowG
Or shall I shed year day and nightH
Or shall I weep in sorrowG
-
Shall I build an orphanageC
That forever shall be full of happiness peace and joyI
To be blessed and glad there is lifeJ
-
There shall I wait for ChristK
Daily would I wait for himL
To come shining like a starM
And with little kids shall I waitN
