Every night
A future insight
With a dream that goes like this;
In the days of my prime
When the need to dote on leaves my restraint slim
I begin to search for them
My future with whom I would love to share.
For this being is flawless in stature
Fairest of all nature
Spotless and faultless
Perfect for me.
A friend who feels lonely without me
A lover who looks not with lust for another
A companion who makes my interest their priority
A mate to whom my happiness is their mind's majority.
Perfection.
Even if there be a storm before us we would hold hands and join hearts
Stay strong and wait till it starts
For till death only do us part.
Call me delusional, I care not
For I know not that I am blinded by youthful fantasy
Wanting to live a future only read in fairy tales
Nonetheless, what harm does it cause?
Woken to the ugly reality
What a perfect companion does not exist
For they come With flaws and all
Oh! how I wish I was stuck in that dream
For I know I cannot have them as I want them
My inamorato (ta).
