The Violin Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAB BCDDDECEBB

Touch gently friend and slow the violin So sweet and lowA
That my dreaming senses may be beckoned soA
Into a rest as deep as the long past years agoA
So softly then beginB
-
And ever gently touch the violinB
Until an impulse grows of a sudden like windC
On the brow of the earthD
And the voice of your violin shows its wide swung girthD
With a crash of the strings and a medley of rage and mirthD
And my rested senses springE
Like juice from a broken rindC
And the joys that your melodies bringE
I know worth a life time to winB
As you waken to love and this hour your violinB
