The Unperfected Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

A broken mirror in a trembling handA
Sad trembling lips that utter broken thoughtB
One of a wide and wandering aimless bandA
One in the world who for the world hath naughtB
-
A heart that loves beyond the shallow wordC
A heart well loved beyond its flowerless worthD
One who asks God to answer the prayer heardC
One from the dust returning to the earthD
-
Can miracle ne'er make the mirror wholeE
For one who seeing could be nobly boldF
Who could well die to magnify the soulE
Whose strength of love will shake the graveyard's mouldF
