Burning The Book Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJDKLMNO

The anthology of love poems I boughtA
for a quarter is brittle anyway and comesB
apart when I read itC
One at a time I throw pages on the fireD
and watch smoke make its way upE
and outF
I'm almost to the index when I hearG
a murmuring in the street My neighborsH
are watching it snowI
I put on my blue jacket and join themJ
We like each other and push each otherD
awayK
The children stand with their mouthsL
openM
I can see nouns longing rapture blissN
land on every tongue then disappearO
