Unhappy about some far off thingsA
That are not my affair wanderingB
Along the coast and up the lean ridgesC
I saw in the eveningB
The stars go over the lonely oceanD
And a black maned wild boarE
Plowing with his snout on Mal Paso MountainD
-
The old monster snuffled Here are sweet rootsF
Fat grubs slick beetles and sprouted acornsG
The best nation in Europe has fallenD
And that is FinlandH
But the stars go over the lonely oceanD
The old black bristled boarE
Tearing the sod on Mal Paso MountainD
-
The world's in a bad way my manI
And bound to be worse before it mendsG
Better lie up in the mountain hereJ
Four or five centuriesG
While the stars go over the lonely oceanD
Said the old father of wild pigsG
Plowing the fallow on Mal Paso MountainD
-
Keep clear of the dupes that talk democracyG
And the dogs that talk revolutionD
Drunk with talk liars and believersG
I believe in my tusksG
Long live freedom and damn the ideologiesG
Said the gamey black maned boarE
Tusking the turf on Mal Paso MountainD
