The Place For No Story Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKL| The coast hills at Sovranes Creek | A |
| No trees but dark scant pasture drawn thin | B |
| Over rock shaped like flame | C |
| The old ocean at the land's foot the vast | D |
| Gray extension beyond the long white violence | E |
| A herd of cows and the bull | F |
| Far distant hardly apparent up the dark slope | G |
| And the gray air haunted with hawks | H |
| This place is the noblest thing I have ever seen | I |
| No imaginable | J |
| Human presence here could do anything | K |
| But dilute the lonely self watchful passion | L |
