The Cruel Falcon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEFEAGBBCHI

Contemplation would make a good life keep it strict onlyA
The eyes of a desert skull drinking the sunB
Too intense for flesh lonelyA
Exultations of white boneC
Pure action would make a good life let it be sharpD
Set between the throat and the knifeE
A man who knows death by heartF
Is the man for that lifeE
In pleasant peace and securityA
How suddenly the soul in a man begins to dieG
He shall look up above the stalled oxenB
Envying the cruel falconB
And dig under the straw for a stoneC
To bruise himself onH
