Song Of Quietness Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACCCA DEDFGGHI JKJKLMMN

f the seaA
Remember not thine old distressB
Nor all the miseries to beA
Calmer than mists and coldC
As they that fold on foldC
Up the dim valley are rolledC
Learn thou to beA
-
The Past it was a feverish dreamD
A drunken slumber full of tearsE
The Future O what wild wings gleamD
Wheeled in the van of desperate yearsF
Thou lovedst the evening dawnG
Glimmers the night is goneG
What dangers lure thee onH
What dreams more fierceI
-
But meanwhile now the east is grayJ
The hour is pale the cocks yet dumbK
Be glad before the birth of dayJ
Take thy brief rest ere morning comeK
Here in the beautiful woodsL
All night the sea mist floodsM
Thy last of solitudesM
Thy yearlong homeN
