Shakespeare-s Grave Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDBEFGHIJKLMNOPB

Doggerel ' he thought 'will do for church wardensA
Poetry's precious enough not to be wasted 'B
And rhymed it all out with a skew smileC
'Spare these stones Curst be he that moves my bonesD
Will hold the hands of masons and grave diggers 'B
But why did the good man care For he wanted quietnessE
He had tasted enough life in his timeF
To stuff a thousand he wanted not to swim wideG
In waters nor wander the enormous airH
Nor grow into grass enter through the mouths of cattleI
The bodies of lusty women and warriorsJ
But all be finished He knew it feelingly the gameK
Of the whirling circles had become tiresomeL
'Annihilation's impossible but insulatedM
In the church under the rhyming flagstoneN
Perhaps my passionate ruins may be kept off marketO
To the end of this age Oh a thousand yearsP
Will hardly leach ' he thought 'this dust of that fire 'B
