Promise Of Peace Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGFBHBBIJ

The heads of strong old age are beautifulA
Beyond all grace of youth They have strange quietB
Integrity health soundness to the fullC
They've dealt with life and been tempered by itD
A young man must not sleep his years are warE
Civil and foreign but the former's worseF
But the old can breathe in safety now that they areG
Forgetting what youth meant the being perverseF
Running the fool's gauntlet and being cutB
By the whips of the five senses As for meH
If I should wish to live long it were butB
To trade those fevers for tranquillityB
Thinking though that's entire and sweet in the graveI
How shall the dead taste the deep treasure they haveJ
