Give Your Wish Light Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCDEEDFFGG

By day and night dream about happy deathA
Poor dog give your heart room drag at the chainB
Breathe deep at dawn wish it were the last breathA
Imagine the leaden ball planted in the brainB
The seed of that superb flower dream the brave nooseC
That loves the neck so dearly it lets the life looseC
Dream the fierce joys of war where men like drunkenD
Jesuses fling the supreme gift at each otherE
'Take blessedness take it deep in your breast brotherE
Dream on dream all these joys life might look shrunkenD
In lack of dreams Give your wish light give it roomF
You know you will never untimely attempt the tombF
Go in to your bride by daylight before the crowdG
As if sweet death were a whore You are too proudG
