My Delight And Thy Delight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAA BBB CC DD EFEGG HHIIJJ

My delight and thy delightA
Walking like two angels whiteA
In the gardens of the nightA
-
My desire and thy desireB
Twining to a tongue of fireB
Leaping live and laughing higherB
-
Thro' the everlasting strifeC
In the mystery of lifeC
-
-
Love from whom the world begunD
Hath the secret of the sunD
-
Love can tell and love aloneE
Whence the million stars were strewnF
Why each atom knows its ownE
How in spite of woe and deathG
Gay is life and sweet is breathG
-
This he taught us this we knewH
Happy in his science trueH
Hand in hand as we stoodI
'Neath the shadows of the woodI
Heart to heart as we layJ
In the dawning of the dayJ
