In Autumn Moonlight, When The White Air Wan Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEFGFGAA

In autumn moonlight when the white air wanA
Is fragrant in the wake of summer henceB
'Tis sweet to sit entranced and muse thereonC
In melancholy and godlike indolenceB
When the proud spirit lull'd by mortal primeD
To fond pretence of immortalityE
Vieweth all moments from the birth of timeD
All things whate'er have been or yet shall beE
And like the garden where the year is spentF
The ruin of old life is full of yearningG
Mingling poetic rapture of lamentF
With flowers and sunshine of spring's sure returningG
Only in visions of the white air wanA
By godlike fancy seized and dwelt uponA
