Absence Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDEF GAGA HIJI KAK

When my love was awayA
Full three days were not spedB
I caught my fancy astrayA
Thinking if she were deadB
-
And I alone aloneC
It seem'd in my miseryD
In all the world was noneE
Ever so lone as IF
-
I wept but it did not shameG
Nor comfort my heart awayA
I rode as I might and cameG
To my love at close of dayA
-
The sight of her still'd my fearsH
My fairest hearted loveI
And yet in her eyes were tearsJ
Which when I question'd ofI
-
'O now thou art come ' she criedK
''Tis fled but I thought to dayA
I never could here abideK
If thou wert longer away '-
