Landscape Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJKE LGMK| The different shapes of white and hasty clouds | A |
| Are letting see the blue and shiny sky | B |
| Just here and there and only for a bit | C |
| To show the sun is up and lights the day | D |
| - | |
| We see the rocky mountains spread around | E |
| With green and scattered spots all over them | F |
| That are from lonely trees among the stones | G |
| Like spears raised from the forest to the top | H |
| - | |
| Few groups of houses sit below apart | I |
| And let the wide and green fields fill the sight | J |
| With red and blue and yellow stains about | K |
| From warmly coloured flowers on the ground | E |
| - | |
| A noisy cold and dark blue stream aside | L |
| Is making way through wet and rounded stones | G |
| With falling water making white foam there | M |
| And sending cool and moisten air throughout | K |
