The Line-gang Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCABDEDEFDF

Here come the line gang pioneering byA
They throw a forest down less cut than brokenB
They plant dead trees for living and the deadC
They string together with a living threadC
They string an instrument against the skyA
Wherein words whether beaten out or spokenB
Will run as hushed as when they were a thoughtD
But in no hush they string it they go pastE
With shouts afar to pull the cable taughtD
To hold it hard until they make it fastE
To ease away they have it With a laughF
An oath of towns that set the wild at naughtD
They bring the telephone and telegraphF
