Sand Dunes Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF GHGH

Sea waves are green and wetA
But up from where they dieB
Rise others vaster yetA
And those are brown and dryB
-
They are the sea made landC
To come at the fisher townD
And bury in solid sandC
The men she could not drownD
-
She may know cove and capeE
But she does not know mankindF
If by any change of shapeE
She hopes to cut off mindF
-
Men left her a ship to sinkG
They can leave her a hut as wellH
And be but more free to thinkG
For the one more cast off shellH
