On Going Unnoticed Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDE FFGG HIJJ

As vain to raise a voice as a sighA
In the tumult of free leaves on highA
What are you in the shadow of treesB
Engaged up there with the light and breezeB
-
Less than the coral root you knowC
That is content with the daylight lowC
And has no leaves at all of its ownD
Whose spotted flowers hang meanly downE
-
You grasp the bark by a rugged pleatF
And look up small from the forest's feetF
The only leaf it drops goes wideG
Your name not written on either sideG
-
You linger your little hour and are goneH
And still the wood sweep leafily onI
Not even missing the coral root flowerJ
You took as a trophy of the hourJ
